Fifty-four holes are in the books at Colonial Golf Course and we have quite the leaderboard heading into Sunday.

Xander Schauffele carded a four-under 66 to hold a one-stroke lead over Gary Woodland (Reigning US Open Champ), Justin Thomas (13-time winner on the PGA Tour), Branden Grace (Once shot a 62 at The Open Championship), Collin Morikawa (recently got his driver’s license) and Jordan Spieth (random 26-year old).
It was an exciting day at Colonial with four different players holding the lead or shares of the lead.
Some highlights from moving day:
I saw this video on Twitter and laughed my ass off. How many guys at your local club have you seen pull this move?
Rory was up and down. Had a couple of sloppy bogeys on the front but came home in two-under 33 to sit three back heading into Sunday. He is looking for his eighth straight top-5 finish. That hasn’t happened on Tour in a LONG TIME.
Jordan had another roller coaster day… chipping in, burying putts, making sloppy bogeys.
After making four birdies and a bogey on the front, he had eight pars and a bogey on the back nine. Going from solo leader to one back.
At one point, five different guys were tied for the lead!
All in all it was a fun day of golf.
I have a sneaky feeling that a lurking JT is going to make a move on Sunday. As long as that sandbagger Patrick Reed doesn’t win I’ll be happy.
Who do you have winning the tourney and popping on the plaid jacket?
