You read that right! The most interesting man in golf, Miguel Angel Jimenez, holds a two-stroke lead at the Austrian Open after 36 holes. Jimenez fired a seven-under 65 in the second round of the European Tour’s first event back.

The Austrian Open is being co-sponsored by the European Tour and the Challenge Tour. The Challenge Tour is the European Tour’s version of the Korn Ferry Tour and arguably it’s most famous (here in the States at least) for where Brooks Koepka got his start.

With no live video highlights have been hard to find. Here’s a look at the Spaniard’s mood heading into the weekend.

Miguel is looking to break a record he already owns in becoming the oldest winner on the European Tour. On Friday, he carded an impressive 10 birdies to go along with three bogeys. He ended his round in style with this bird.

Decent approach. He’s still got it.

Just remember, NO ONE and I mean NO ONE, has as much swag as Miguel.

Who has made cigars more popular Miguel or Arnold Schwarzenegger? Hard to say. Also, I had to Google that last name and it still doesn’t look right.

Anyways if you’re not familiar with Miguel’s sweet pre-round stretching routine check it out below.

Cigar in the mouth and all. What a character. If you saw someone do this on the range you’d 1,000% think they were an asshole. But somehow, Miguel pulls it off.

Will he hold off the pack over the weekend?!

FORE!
